Job Title: POS (Point of Sale ) Architect/Lead
Required Skills
- 15+ years of experience designing, building, deploying, operating, scaling, and evolving distributed systems and high-volume transaction applications in a 24/7 environment.
- Strong architecture and design skills with a track record of architecting and delivering distributed, cloud-based microservices, event-driven architectures and RESTful API s.
- 10+ years of experience in building Point of Sale systems from scratch.
- 8+ years of experience in either Java (with Spring Boot or similar frameworks), Golang, Python, Swift/Objective-C, Javascript, React, Ember, SQL etc.
- 5+ years of experience building large scale experiences across Mobile and Web.
- Operations experience managing, deploying and maintaining enterprise large scale solutions and drive operational excellence across the organization.
- 5+ years of experience on Cloud Native technologies on AWS, Google Cloud Platform or Azure with 2+ experience in Google Cloud Platform and/or Kubernetes specific technologies.
- 5+ years of experience in building highly performant large-scale data and storage systems based on Cloud technologies like CloudSQL, DynamoDB, Cloud Spanner, S3 etc.
- 2+ years of experience in Machine Learning and/or Data Intelligence and leveraging these to build end customer experiences.
- Experience leading or contributing to multiple simultaneous product development efforts and initiatives.
Work Site: Pittsburgh, PA / Remote (Occasional Travel)
Duration: 6+ Months
