Job Title: Lawson HR/Payroll Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a customer-facing Lawson HR/Payroll Lead with 10+ years of IT experience supporting ERP systems, preferably Lawson HCM, and 5+ years of leadership experience managing IT teams. The ideal candidate will have hands-on developer expertise, technical knowledge of HCM components, strong problem-solving skills, and experience leading ERP project work, including Go Live migrations. This role demands high-level collaboration, adherence to schedules, scope management, and confidentiality in handling HR/Payroll data.


Key Responsibilities:

ERP System Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Lead the Lawson ERP team for HCM, ensuring smooth system operations.
  • Collaborate with Network Services, user communities, and management teams.
  • Assign and prioritize work for IT teams, providing support when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with project timelines and deliverables.

Development & System Enhancement:

  • Manage ERP system customization, coding, and development.
  • Oversee Go Live migration processes, ensuring seamless implementation.
  • Ensure HCM integration with Finance, external vendors, financial institutions, and government entities.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, identifying and addressing scope creep.

Process Optimization & Compliance:

  • Maintain high confidentiality and data security standards within the HCM team.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and analytics as requested by management.
  • Deliver team and stakeholder presentations, ensuring clear communication.
  • Optimize HR/Payroll system functionalities for efficiency and reliability.


Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • 10+ years of IT experience supporting ERP systems, preferably Lawson HCM.
  • 5+ years of IT leadership experience, managing teams and collaborating across departments.
  • Strong background in professional developer coding, system integration, and ERP customization.
  • Proven expertise in HCM components and how they interact with Finance and external systems.
  • Problem-solving and organizational skills to manage projects effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with presentation experience.
