Job Title: Sr. Technical Product Manager Next-Gen POS & Credit Card Payments
Location: Seattle, WA (On-Site)
Duration: 12 Months Contract


Role Overview

We are seeking a Sr. Technical Product Manager to lead the strategy and execution of retail and digital payment solutions for our Next-Generation POS platforms. You will drive innovation in POS, in-store transactions, digital wallets, and fraud prevention to deliver seamless, secure, and cost-effective customer experiences at scale.


Key Responsibilities

POS Systems (QSR / Retail):

  • Own roadmap for next-gen POS payment systems (fast, reliable, cashier-friendly)

  • Deliver scalable POS solutions enhancing order throughput & service time

  • Collaborate with store ops + engineering to modernize POS architecture (omnichannel)

  • Drive roadmap for credit card acceptance (NFC, Tap-to-Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, EMV chip)

  • Define solutions for devices: Verifone, Ingenico, Toast, Clover, Square

Digital Payments & Wallets:

  • Lead roadmap for in-store digital payments (QR Scan & Pay, mobile wallets)

  • Manage PCI-compliant storage & tokenized payment systems

  • Oversee payment orchestration APIs handling millions of daily transactions

  • Drive initiatives in network tokenization & least-cost routing

  • Integrate with processors: CyberSource, WorldPay, Chase, PayPal, Venmo, Stripe, Adyen

  • Lead vault migration and reconciliation systems

Fraud & Risk Management:

  • Develop real-time fraud detection systems across payments & loyalty

  • Automate fraud remediation & ATO (Account Takeover) processes

  • Launch reconciliation & refund systems to optimize financial operations

  • Partner with finance & analytics teams for payment discrepancy resolution


Qualifications

  • 5+ years in technical product management (POS, payments, or fintech, ideally QSR/retail)

  • Strong technical background in payment systems, PCI compliance, fraud prevention

  • Experience scaling high-availability payment platforms & integrating 3rd-party processors

  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Supply Chain coursework a plus)
