React Developer

Role: React Developer
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 6 months
Job Description:

Backfill:

• Communication issues
• Not quality work - team is having to rereview/work on tickets they have 'covered'

Project:

• Main work is Novant Physician Finder (RVO helps run)
• Search experience, provider profiles, appointment scheduling
• 50/50 New feature build and maintenance/bug fixes
• Currently building out the redesign for site pages - starting with physician profiles
• Will be working with/exposed to sensitive data/PHI
• Have a few other landing pages they work on
• All public facing websites

Profile:

• Mid to Senior level Web Developer - heavy React, CSS, HTML experience
• Should have a solid understanding of the work they do and how it translates to website performance
• Experience integrating backend API services (GraphQL)
• Can take a Figma mockup and turn into HTML, CSS, React components for the site
• Can take a bug, break it down, and correct it
• Site has gone through a lot of engineers - so will need to dive in, look around, and figure out what they need and understand what's going on in order to fix a bug

Must Have:

• Experience with debugging
• React - Javascript
• Next.JS
• HTML/CSS
• GraphQL
• Agile/Scrum

Nice to Have:

• AWS experience
• SEO (Search Engine Optimization) expeirence
• Healthcare - sensitive data/PHI experience
• Experience with scheduling systems
