Business Analyst with automotive (12+ Years Experience)

Location: Deerfield Beach, FL-Locals only
Duration: Long term

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst with 12+ years of proven expertise in requirements gathering, business process analysis, solution design, and stakeholder management.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business units to understand goals, processes, challenges, and improvement opportunities.
  • Lead end-to-end requirements gathering, including workshops, interviews, documentation, and validation.
  • Analyze existing workflows and recommend process improvements aligned with Client standards.
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Work closely with product owners, architects, QA teams, and developers to ensure alignment on solution design.
  • Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flow diagrams, and acceptance criteria.
  • Facilitate JAD sessions, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and UAT.
  • Communicate project updates and risks to stakeholders in a clear, concise manner.
  • Support testing teams with scenario creation and ensure business needs are met prior to deployment.
  • Coordinate across cross-functional teams and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Ensure solutions comply with security, compliance, and operational guidelines.

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • 12+ years of Business Analyst experience in enterprise-level IT environments.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Proven experience interacting with senior stakeholders and business leaders.
  • Expertise in documentation tools (Confluence, Jira, MS Visio, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Experience in automotive, financial services, or distribution domains is a strong plus (preferred for JM Family).
  • Ability to work independently and drive initiatives with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with automotive services organizations.
  • Knowledge of data analysis, reporting tools, and BI dashboards.
  • Certification(s): CBAP, PMI-PBA, CSM, or similar.
