Job Summary:

Avanciers are seeking a detail-oriented Document Control Specialist to support administrative and documentation workflows across capital construction projects. This role will focus on tracking project progress, processing financial documents, and maintaining compliance with internal controls (SOX). The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, a proactive approach to follow-ups, and a good understanding of finance or business administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform administrative and document control duties under general supervision in support of capital projects.
  • Track and manage purchase requisition and purchase order workflows:
  • Ensure required documentation is submitted.
  • Monitor and follow through approvals.
  • Close POs upon receipt of all invoices.
  • Coordinate and track invoice posting, payment status, and expedite payment requests.
  • Assist in vendor setup coordination with Supply Chain.
  • Maintain accurate and organized project documentation for quick retrieval upon inquiry.
  • Capitalize assets at the end of the project in compliance with SOX internal controls.
  • Generate regular reports and track progress using internal tools.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field (required).
  • 2+ years of experience in business administration, finance, or document control roles.
  • Background in finance or capital project support strongly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with purchase orders, vendor setup processes, or invoice tracking.
  • Familiarity with SOX compliance or asset capitalization procedures.
  • Experience in remote collaboration and documentation tools.
