Application Developer IV / ServiceNow Developer
Location: Minneapolis, MN (Onsite 5 days/week)
Duration: 12+ Month Contract
Interview: Phone + Video (In-person possible)
We are seeking an experienced Application Developer IV / ServiceNow Developer to lead full lifecycle development on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will deliver scalable solutions, drive platform best practices, perform requirement analysis, develop test strategies using ATF, and support implementation and operational procedures. This role requires strong technical expertise combined with excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality, scalable, and reusable ServiceNow code following engineering best practices (code reviews, unit testing, etc.).
- Serve as an advisor on ServiceNow best practices, perform gap analysis, and recommend solutions.
- Provide strategic technical guidance on process improvements and long-term platform enhancements.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to understand requirements and own code from design to deployment.
- Improve ServiceNow application development, deployment, and customization processes.
- Contribute to new feature development and enhance existing modules.
- Work with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
- Maintain effective knowledge-sharing practices.
- Perform change management using ServiceNow in alignment with internal policies.
- Participate and occasionally lead complex technical projects.
- Provide updates during daily standups.
- Support compliance with audit and Information Security guidelines.

- End-to-end delivery of Salesforce or ServiceNow solutions
- Experience integrating with third-party systems
- Strong understanding of cloud/SaaS, datacenter, and hybrid environments
- Knowledge of change management processes
- Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell or shell)
- CI/CD experience (GitLab preferred)
- Platform certification is a plus
- SAFe Agile experience highly preferred
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of related work experience
