Job Title: Senior Business Analyst

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with over 10 years of expertise in business process analysis, requirements gathering, and solution delivery. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and ensure successful project implementation aligned with organizational goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements.

  • Translate business requirements into clear user stories, process flows, and system specifications.

  • Collaborate with product owners, developers, QA teams, and project managers throughout the SDLC.

  • Conduct gap analysis, impact analysis, and feasibility studies to support business decisions.

  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirement-gathering sessions with stakeholders.

  • Develop detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), and User Acceptance Test (UAT) plans.

  • Support the QA team in validating test cases and ensuring alignment with business requirements.

  • Provide ongoing support for implemented systems, analyzing defects, and recommending enhancements.

  • Lead change management activities and ensure smooth communication between business and technical teams.

  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to best practices and process improvements.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in IT, Financial Services, Healthcare, or Retail domains.

  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.

  • Proven experience in requirements elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder management.

  • Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.

  • Excellent knowledge of process modeling, data analysis, and reporting tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI).

  • Ability to write user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases.

  • Strong communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Certification in CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA is a plus.

  • Experience with data analytics, ERP systems, CRM platforms, or cloud applications.

  • Knowledge of UI/UX principles and API integration workflows.
