About the Program
IFS EAM Program a strategic initiative to implement IFS Cloud for Enterprise Asset Management. The program encompasses work management, asset management, and supply chain management business processes. The program will provide exciting opportunities for professionals skilled in IFS EAM to engage in high-impact projects shaping Exelon's digital future.
Role Summary
The IFS EAM Cloud Functional Consultant will support Client's EAM processes and functional design efforts in the implementation of IFS Cloud. The consultant will engage with business stakeholders, capture requirements, design functional solutions, and collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful delivery. This role requires deep expertise in IFS EAM modules and strong business process knowledge across asset-intensive industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements related to EAM business processes.
- Design functional solutions in IFS Cloud to support work management, asset management, and supply chain management.
- Configure IFS EAM Cloud modules to align with business requirements and best practices.
- Prepare functional design specifications for technical development teams.
- Participate in workshops, solution demonstrations, and design sessions.
- Perform fit-gap analysis and develop solutions for identified gaps.
- Support data migration mapping, validation, and reconciliation activities for EAM data.
- Develop and execute functional test plans; support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Provide expertise in IFS Cloud best practices and advise on process improvements.
- Troubleshoot functional issues and work with technical teams for resolution.
- Contribute to training materials and end-user documentation.
- Support cutover planning and post-go-live stabilization activities.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on functional experience with IFS EAM solutions, preferably IFS Cloud.
- Strong functional knowledge of one or more of the following:
- Work management
- Asset management
- Preventive and corrective maintenance
- Inventory and supply chain management
- Proven experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional designs.
- Ability to configure IFS Cloud modules and support functional solution build.
- Familiarity with data migration activities and understanding of EAM data structures.
- Experience supporting testing phases including functional testing and UAT.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in asset-intensive industries (e.g., Utilities, Energy, Manufacturing, Transportation) is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience with Exelon or in utility industry implementations.
- Understanding of IFS integration capabilities (e.g., IFS Connect, APIs).
- Exposure to IFS Cloud implementation methodologies.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- IFS Certifications (desirable but not required).
Pay rate: $110hr-$120hr depending on experience
