Job Description:
The Release Train Engineer will guide and support an Agile Release Train by coordinating planning activities, improving delivery flow, and fostering strong communication across teams. This role focuses on keeping teams aligned, removing obstacles, and ensuring predictable and transparent delivery. The RTE will work closely with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional partners to maintain smooth execution, lead major SAFe ceremonies, and reinforce Lean-Agile practices throughout the organization.
Required Skills:
6 or more years working within Agile environments, including at least 2 years in a program-level leadership or coaching role
Experience mentoring or overseeing Scrum Masters or Agile team facilitators
Hands-on experience leading PI Planning and major SAFe ceremonies at scale
Strong understanding of Program Kanban, dependency management, risk handling (including ROAM), and flow metrics
Skilled in Agile project tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira
Ability to drive alignment, maintain momentum, and encourage continuous improvement
BonSoft Skills:
SAFe RTE or SAFe Program Consultant certification
Background supporting teams in regulated or compliance-heavy environments
Experience with DevOps, CALMR concepts, or continuous delivery pipelines
Familiarity with privacy or security frameworks
