Overview
DecisionPoint seeks a Platform Research & Trend Analyst to support MC&FP's Third-Party Platform Support and Outreach & Engagement teams. This role analyzes emerging digital platforms, new feature rollouts, audience behavior shifts, and content consumption patterns to inform platform selection, integration decisions, and long-term digital strategy.
The analyst evaluates platform risks, tests new features, supports onboarding of approved platforms, and provides actionable recommendations to improve enterprise outreach, engagement, and digital operations. This position requires strong trend analysis abilities, platform literacy, and cross-team coordination.
This position is fully remote.

Clearance Requirement
Candidate must possess a Tier 2 Moderate Risk Public Trust (from any federal agency) or an active Secret clearance or higher.

Duties & Responsibilities
The Platform Research & Trend Analyst will:
- Support the evaluation, configuration, onboarding, and testing of approved third-party platforms.
- Monitor digital landscape trends, audience migration patterns, adoption curves, and market movement.
- Track new platform features, policy changes, and technical updates affecting MC&FP programs.
- Identify content consumption shifts and recommend strategies to improve reach and engagement.
- Conduct platform risk assessments in coordination with cybersecurity and IT/Cyber stakeholders.
- Develop platform comparison matrices, summaries, and leadership-ready trend briefings.
- Provide insights for campaign planning, stakeholder engagement, and content optimization.
- Support quarterly platform reporting with trend insights, feature summaries, and adoption analysis.
- Collaborate with data, analytics, and outreach teams to integrate platform behavior metrics.
- Maintain research documentation, watchlists, and market intelligence repositories.
Clearance Requirement

Experience (Required)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in digital trends research, platform analysis, marketing analytics, or related fields.
- Experience evaluating third-party platforms, features, and digital ecosystem risks.
- Experience supporting digital marketing, communications, or research programs.
Technical Knowledge (Required)
- Strong familiarity with major social, community, and digital platforms.
- Understanding of platform metrics, audience analytics, and behavioral insights.
- Experience with digital monitoring, social intelligence tools, or platform evaluation methodologies.
Technical Knowledge (Preferred)
- Experience with DoD or federal digital communications environments.
- Experience with content strategy, digital governance, or platform testing workflows.
Skills
- Strong analytical, research, and trend evaluation skills.
- Ability to synthesize platform changes and emerging trends into executive-ready insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
