CNC Programmer

My client is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer with experience in NX to join their precision manufacturing team. In this role, you'll write offline code to automate power-driven machines such as lathes, grinders, and mills, to cut and finish metal components for high-performance companies, mostly in aerospace.


What You'll Do



  • Create detailed machining instructions for operators.

  • Review and interpret complex 3D CAD design blueprints.

  • Perform precise calculations for material cutting and programming.

  • Develop CAM programs for Fanuc, Heidenhain, or Siemens controls.

  • Test and validate programs using Vericut simulations.

  • Prepare geometric layouts using Siemens UG NX.

  • Determine the most efficient sequence of machining operations.

  • Select and optimize cutting tools and speeds for each project.

  • Improve setup times and streamline complex contouring operations.

  • Modify existing programs for greater efficiency and productivity.

  • Monitor production programs to ensure compliance with blueprints, safety standards, and quality requirements.


What You'll Bring



  • Associate's Degree or equivalent training in machining/programming.

  • 2+ years of CNC programming and machining experience.

  • Proficiency with NX and experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints with strong attention to detail.

  • Industry experience in aerospace, automotive, or medical manufacturing preferred.
