Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Migration and Power Automate Specialist to lead the migration of existing SharePoint workflows, forms, and automation processes to the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI). The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in migrating legacy SharePoint Designer or InfoPath workflows, optimizing business processes, and designing scalable automation solutions that align with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, and execute the migration of legacy SharePoint workflows (e.g., SharePoint 2010/2013 Designer workflows or Nintex workflows) to Power Automate.
- Assess existing SharePoint environments, including lists, libraries, and permissions, to ensure smooth migration with minimal disruption to business operations.
- Develop and implement Power Automate flows to automate business processes, approval systems, and data integrations with Microsoft 365 services (Teams, Outlook, Excel, etc.).
- Rebuild InfoPath or custom forms using Power Apps, ensuring functionality and user experience are maintained or improved.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using Power Platform tools.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance during migration, including handling permissions, metadata, and version history.
- Optimize and document existing workflows for better performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Provide training and support to business users on new Power Automate flows and Power Apps applications.
- Implement governance and best practices for Power Platform usage, security, and lifecycle management.
- Integrate Power Automate with third-party applications and APIs as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience with SharePoint Online / SharePoint 2013/2016/2019 administration and workflow development.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps development.
- Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, lists, libraries, content types, permissions, and site collections.
- Experience with migrating legacy SharePoint Designer or InfoPath workflows to Power Automate.
- Hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, Outlook, Excel, OneDrive, etc.).
- Proficiency in JSON, PowerShell, REST API, and Microsoft Graph API for integration and automation.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for interacting with business users and technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate (PL-200) or Power Automate RPA Developer Associate (PL-500).
- Experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
- Familiarity with migration tools such as ShareGate, Metalogix, or AvePoint.
- Understanding of Azure Logic Apps and Dataverse integrations.
