RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Walnut Creek, CA that is seeking a Jamf Engineer. This is a hybrid role.
Summary:
We're seeking a Jamf Engineer to join our enterprise IT team and take ownership of Apple device management across a large-scale environment. This role is a great opportunity to lead Jamf Pro operations, automate workflows, and ensure a secure and seamless Apple experience for employees - including executive-level users.
Duties:
* Manage and optimize Jamf Pro, including zero-touch deployment and automated patching
* Develop automation workflows using Bash/Python
* Support enterprise Apple/iOS/macOS environments and integrate with IAM (Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace)
* Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure endpoint security best practices
* Partner with executives and end users to deliver high-quality Mac/iOS support
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of hands-on experience with Jamf Pro in enterprise environments
* Experience with macOS/iOS deployment at scale
* Knowledge of endpoint security, VPNs, and firewalls (Zero Trust a plus)
* Familiarity with IAM (Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace)
* Strong Bash scripting (Python a plus)
* Jamf certifications (200 or higher) a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
