Genesis10 is seeking a Process Improvement Business Consultant for a 6-month contract position with a client located in the Milwaukee, WI area. This role is onsite. Pay range: $35-$45/hr W2.
Summary:
Genesis10 is seeking a highly skilled Process Improvement professional to drive business performance through the design, analysis, and optimization of end-to-end business processes. This role focuses on improving product and service quality, increasing operational efficiency, reducing costs and waste, and enhancing customer satisfaction by applying disciplined process excellence methodologies. The ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert in business process management and continuous improvement, collaborating across business, technology, and leadership teams.

Summary:
Genesis10 is seeking a highly skilled Process Improvement professional to drive business performance through the design, analysis, and optimization of end-to-end business processes. This role focuses on improving product and service quality, increasing operational efficiency, reducing costs and waste, and enhancing customer satisfaction by applying disciplined process excellence methodologies. The ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert in business process management and continuous improvement, collaborating across business, technology, and leadership teams.
Responsibilities:
- Measure, analyze, and evaluate existing business and technology processes to identify root causes, improvement opportunities, and cost-benefit tradeoffs.
- Develop, recommend, and independently implement process improvements, system enhancements, and operational efficiencies aligned with business priorities.
- Define and maintain effective process measurement systems, including data collection plans and performance metrics.
- Document current and future state processes according to established Business Process Mapping standards.
- Develop and implement controls and monitoring methods to ensure redesigned processes remain effective and identify process degradation.
- Design, guide, and promote process architecture aligned to organizational priorities and operational roadmaps.
- Promote and share best practices for process improvement across the organization.
- Research and evaluate process improvement tools, techniques, and technologies to identify opportunities for additional business value.
- Translate documented processes into detailed procedures that guide end users through transactional workflows.
- Collaborate with business leaders, technology teams, and stakeholders to align process architecture with operational decisions.
- Provide subject matter expertise in process improvement to product, operations, and technology teams.
- Lead and support change management initiatives associated with process transformation efforts.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in process improvement, business process management, project management, consulting, or related leadership roles.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization to drive engagement and adoption of process improvement initiatives.
- Strong project management skills with experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence outcomes.
- High level of organization, prioritization, and follow-through, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience using data and analytics tools to collect, analyze, and interpret business performance metrics.
- Experience facilitating workshops, coaching teams, and leading problem-solving and behavior change initiatives.
- Lean or Six Sigma Black Belt certification required (Master Black Belt preferred), or equivalent leadership experience in process improvement.
- Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
- Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no corp to corp).
