Job Details
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Service and Virtualization Engineer to join our dynamic team. This hybrid role, based in Dallas, Texas, offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative service virtualization solutions that enhance application testing processes.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain service virtualization solutions to support various application testing teams.
- Create and manage virtual services and data models to facilitate efficient testing methods.
- Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to identify improvement areas in service virtualization.
- Generate simulated virtualized services using Broadcom Dev Test tools.
- Monitor and analyze test execution, recommending services for virtualization to enhance testing efficiency.
- Assist teams in adopting a Test Driven Development model and foster maturity in their practices.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of service virtualization tools, particularly Broadcom Dev Test.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and JavaScript, with knowledge of Python being a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, as well as CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working with REST and SOAP APIs, along with messaging protocols like MQ/JMS.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with performance testing and metrics evaluation.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Ability to work in a hybrid model with flexibility for overtime as needed.
