RESPONSIBILITIES:

Solution Design and Development:

  • Design, develop, and implement software solutions and workflow automation that improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop user-friendly and visually appealing web applications that seamlessly adapt to various devices and screen sizes.
  • Build and refine databases and data models to support the design and implementation of robust applications and solutions, ensuring efficient data retrieval while adhering to industry-best

Research and Innovation:

  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best
  • Perform buy versus build analyses to determine the most effective approach for addressing software needs.

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

  • Document software solutions, system architectures, and development processes for future reference and team collaboration.
  • Participate in peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality and best practices.
  • Share knowledge and expertise with team members to foster continuous learning and skill

System Maintenance and Support:

  • Ensure all production systems are supported and maintained according to industry
  • Regularly monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot existing solutions and systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Diagnose and solve complex problems involving hardware, software, and end
  • Analyze software performance and identify areas for optimization to enhance speed, scalability, and overall system efficiency.
  • Implement performance enhancements, including code optimizations and database
  • Support of a Service Level Agreement (SLA), which articulates uptime and performance commitments to the user community.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:
  1. Proficiency in the following technology areas:
    • Writing clean and scalable code using server-side and client-side programming
    • Client-server architecture and technologies used to develop web
    • Microservices architecture, reusable APIs, and agile development to increase productivity by building large, complex apps from multiple small components.
    • DevOps and CI/CD principles to deliver solutions on
    • Deploying and managing hosted web applications in Microsoft Azure by utilizing services like Azure App Service and Azure Functions to ensure high availability, scalability, and optimal performance.
    • Commitment to developing quality business applications that are optimized and user-
    • In-depth understanding of the systems development life cycle (SDLC), including planning, creation, testing, and deployment, preferably in a large law firm environment.
    • Good understanding of the network infrastructure and security for application development
    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
    1. Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
    2. 8-10 years of hands-on experience developing software solutions
    REQUIRED INTERPERSONAL AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
    1. Maintain effective relationships with clients and internal customers (Attorneys, Litigation Support, IP Services, and other support staff).
    2. Ability to lead and build consensus among peers and
