Job Details
Title: PLC Controls Engineer (Beckhoff PLC/TwinCat3)
Location: Normal, IL (But 2 weeks of training onsite in Lawrenceville, GA, first)
Length of Contract: 2-3 Months
Hours: 40 hours per week
Ideal Start Date: October 13th
Interview Process: Resume select/30 min teams interview
Interview Times: Wed/Thursday morning
Must pass Drug/Background checks
Product/Application: Install/Integrate/Program 2 Beckhoff automation lines at Rivian (Automotive)
Brief Position Overview:
- Looking for a Beckhoff PLC/TwinCat 3 controls/automation engineer to help commission, perform SAT and program with Beckhoff TwinCat 2/3. The PLC resource will need to spend 2 weeks on-site at Lawrenceville, GA (BBS) to get familiarized and trained on the customers equipment/machines, including automotive Standards. There are 2 lines, one line is fully commissioned, and the other line is 95% commissioned. After 2 weeks in GA, the resource will be on-site in Norman, IL at client site to perform SAT (site acceptance testing), troubleshoot/debug for the remainder of the contract. Looking for a resource who is strong in Object Oriented programming/TwinCat 2/3 with an automotive automation background.
