About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Systems Operations Engineer to join our team on a contingent basis. In this role, you will contribute to moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Systems Operations Engineering. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze challenges, implement solutions, and support large-scale planning efforts.
This position requires hands-on experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and a strong understanding of systems engineering principles, compliance requirements, and operational best practices.

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Systems Operations Engineer to join our team on a contingent basis. In this role, you will contribute to moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Systems Operations Engineering. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze challenges, implement solutions, and support large-scale planning efforts.
This position requires hands-on experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and a strong understanding of systems engineering principles, compliance requirements, and operational best practices.
Responsibilities
- Participate in and consult on moderately complex Systems Operations Engineering projects.
- Analyze and resolve technical challenges involving variable factors.
- Contribute to planning and execution of deliverables across large-scale systems operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and client personnel to meet engineering goals.
- Apply knowledge of policies, procedures, and compliance standards to ensure operational excellence.
- 4+ years of experience in Systems Engineering or Technology Architecture, or equivalent experience through work, consulting, military service, or education.
- Proven hands-on experience in System Reliability Engineering (SRE).
- Strong background in performance engineering and cloud computing.
- Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as AppDynamics and Splunk.
- Proficiency in the following technologies and platforms:
- Cloud Platforms: Azure
- Programming Languages & Frameworks: Java Full Stack, .NET
- Databases: SQL (5+ years), MongoDB, Oracle
- Operating Systems & Servers: Linux Administration, Windows Server, IIS, Tomcat
- Networking: Network Load Balancing
- Application Performance & Tuning: Performance Tuning, Software Troubleshooting
- Web Technologies: Windows Applications
