About the Role:
We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our team on a contingent basis. In this role, you will contribute to software engineering initiatives of low to moderate complexity, helping to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation. You'll work closely with internal teams to analyze technical challenges, evaluate solutions, and support the delivery of reliable, scalable software systems.

Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of software solutions for low to moderately complex projects.
- Analyze technical problems and recommend solutions based on research and evaluation of alternatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with engineering best practices and compliance requirements.
- Support process improvement efforts by identifying inefficiencies and proposing enhancements.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to stakeholders and team members.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in software engineering, or equivalent experience through a combination of work, consulting, military service, or education.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in technical decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in AI development or related technologies.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
