Required Skills & Experience (Minimum 3 Years)
Evaluate and review existing DSHS cybersecurity tools and controls to identify gaps and recommend risk reduction plans.
Design, prepare, and present project plans, status reports, briefings, presentations, and stakeholder communication materials.
Conduct research, interviews, meetings, and workshops to understand organizational objectives, processes, challenges, and improvement opportunities.
Collaborate extensively with internal and external stakeholders to analyze and resolve complex cybersecurity or compliance gaps.
Perform basic project management duties, including:
Project charters
Risk and issue management
Communication and expectation management
Resource coordination
Edit and manage technical and security documentation, ensuring clarity, consistency, formatting standards, and version control.
Produce progress reports and briefing materials as required.
Preferred Qualifications (5+ Years)
Advanced experience evaluating cybersecurity controls and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
Strong background in cybersecurity documentation, governance, and compliance initiatives.
Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and short-term cybersecurity projects in a government environment.

This is a fully onsite role with no remote flexibility.
Candidates must be comfortable working in a government / regulatory environment.
