Job Description:

Laptop Distribution Activities:
  • Assist with device (laptop) issuance to employees.
  • Resource will need to assist in prepping/setting up and issuing the laptops and help resolve issues.
  • Image laptops with RTP image and upgrade RAM as needed. Tracking of laptop distributiion and updating tracking spreadsheet. Provide Hypercare support for device issuance and monitor hypercare chat to triage support requests.
  • Support users with configuration and printer setup. Track any returned laptops.
  • MSL Support Tasks and Qualifications.
  • Client Escort vendors to server room and other IT areas.
  • Client Govern physical access of the data room, supervise/manage all work in the data room.
  • Client Track and receive shipments of server and network equipment. Verify packing slips match contents of packing slips.
  • Client Maintain data room documentation and rack elevations.
  • Client Ensure vendors are completing tasks according to standards. Standards will be provided.
  • Client Racking and labeling of any server or network hardware in accordance with set standards.
  • Client Perform server and network cabling tasks following provided cabling matrix following standards.
  • Client Perform basic smart hands activities for hosting and network teams.
  • Client Assist with on-site support of network and hosting related incidents and troubleshooting.
  • Client Attend project meetings as required.
  • Client Assist with UAT tasks as needed.
  • Client Have basic networking knowledge including LAN, WAN, WLAN, VLANs, Trunks.
  • Client Previous experience using Service Now or similar ticketing system would be a plus.
