Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Greenwood Village, CO that is seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee backend development teams working with data-intensive platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience managing projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with a strong focus on scope, schedule, and communication. This role requires close collaboration with development and product teams to drive project delivery and ensure alignment with business priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage project scope, schedules, and delivery within 3-week sprint cycles using Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies
* Act as a liaison between development teams and product/business stakeholders to provide clear direction and facilitate communication
* Support project intake, prioritization, and coordination of new initiatives
* Maintain thorough documentation and status reporting throughout the project lifecycle
* Collaborate effectively with onshore and offshore teams to ensure timely execution
* Understand technical aspects of backend development, including data migration and cloud infrastructure

REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience managing backend development projects with hybrid Agile and Waterfall approaches
* Familiarity with AWS cloud services and PostgreSQL databases
* Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Lucidchart, and Smartsheets
* Strong communication and documentation skills
* Ability to work closely with technical teams and understand their workflows

Preferred Skills:
* Project management certifications (PMP or similar) are a plus but not required
* Experience with Informatica or similar data integration tools
* Background in managing user or organizational data platforms
* Exposure to telecom or enterprise backend environments
* Basic scripting or technical knowledge related to data processes

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
