CompQsoft is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals at Portsmouth, NH.
Job Description:
Configure and optimize Flow Designer workflows and App Engine automation
Collaborate with Business Analysts and System Administrators on platform changes
Interpret business and system requirements to build scalable ServiceNow solutions
Develop and test digitally signed, regression-tested code with release documentation
Create and maintain API integrations using JSON and JavaScript (ECMAScript5)
Support integration with external systems including SPLUNK, SAP, Oracle, SharePoint, and more
Establish and maintain Cloud/Mid-Server configurations
Assist in CMMI Level 3 documentation, audits, and training
Ensure compliance with DISA STIGs, DoD cybersecurity policies, and SUBMEPP standards
Provide weekly performance metrics and status updates
Conduct pre-deployment testing and ensure cybersecurity compliance
Engineer high-availability, maintainable, and dependable solutions
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Communication & Collaboration
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation abilities
Clear documentation for technical and non-technical audiences
Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach
Technical Expertise:
Deep knowledge of ServiceNow modules (ITSM, HRSD, etc.)
Proficient in JavaScript, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions
Experience with Playbooks and Activity Sets
Familiarity with GitLab, MS Team Foundation Server, and ServiceNow DevOps tools
Skilled in API development and integration with Navy systems
Analytical & Problem-Solving:
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
Logical and analytical thinking to break down complex requirements
Ability to design scalable, reusable technical solutions
Best Practices & Security:
Modular design and reusable component development
Understanding of RBAC and secure ServiceNow configurations
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Adherence to DISA STIGs and DoD cybersecurity directives
Customer-Centric Mindset:
Focused on delivering user-aligned solutions that enhance operational efficiency
Committed to high user adoption and satisfaction
Education & Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or related field
Minimum 5 years of ServiceNow development experience
Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Experience with CMMI Level 3 processes and documentation
Technical writing proficiency
Clearance: Active Secret.
