Job Details

Requirements: 

  • 5 years or more experience as a EDI Developer.
  • Prior experience with health care insurance or health care vendor organizations.
  • Experience with 5010 and HL7 is required.
  • Experience with 835 and 837 is required.
  • Knowledge of 945 and 947 is required,
  • Experience with Flat files and MFT.
  • Experience in Unix/Linux (Red Hat) system is required.
  • If remote, candidate must be willing to come onsite for a week for onboarding/training etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop knowledge of how core administrative system processes EDI transactions.
  • Implement, maintain, and monitor EDI systems.
  • Develop data integration components including EDI, data mapping, translation and interface.
  • Analyze EDI and data integration/transformation requirements.
  • Ensure data integration design and implementation.
  • Apply business rules used to govern data transformations.
  • Perform EDI system testing and quality control checks.
  • Resolve code defects discovered during testing and implement corrective solutions.
  • Review and correct daily errors for inbound EDI transactions.
  • Evaluate user requests for new and modified EDI applications.
