SAP S4 Data Migration Developer

We are seeking a senior SAP S/4HANA Data Migration Developer with 12+ years of experience to support an enterprise-level ECC to S/4HANA transformation initiative. The role focuses on hands-on development using SAP Data Services to deliver high-quality, performance-optimized data conversion for both master and transactional data.

The consultant will be responsible for end-to-end SAP Data Services development including job design, execution, performance tuning, and data validation. This role requires strong experience working with HANA staging tables, executing ETL from SAP ECC, and supporting data loads into S/4HANA and MDG environments. The candidate must have hands-on experience building validation rules, scorecards, and reconciliation logic using Information Steward in alignment with functional conversion rules.

The role involves close collaboration with SAP functional and technical teams, participation in design discussions, mock cycles, testing, and ensuring timely delivery of migration objects. The ideal candidate has proven experience working on multiple SAP S/4HANA conversion projects, understands SAP tables, fields, and load processes, and is comfortable handling large data volumes while ensuring data accuracy and performance.

Required Skills & Experience:
• 6–8+ years hands-on SAP Data Services development experience
• Minimum 2 full SAP S/4HANA conversion projects
• Strong experience with SAP Data Services 4.3 Designer and Information Steward
• Hands-on experience with ECC to S/4 ETL, staging tables, and DMC concepts
• Experience loading data into SAP S/4HANA and SAP MDG
• Proven ability to build validation and reconciliation rules in Information Steward (not profiling)
• Strong performance tuning experience for large data volumes
• Excellent communication skills and ability to meet project timelines
