We are seeking an experienced FPGA Development Engineer to join our R&D team. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and integrate high-speed digital systems and system-on-chip (SoC) solutions implemented on FPGA platforms. You will collaborate across multiple disciplines-including Test, Integration, Software, Systems Architecture, and Digital Circuit Design-to deliver cutting-edge products for future business growth.

Job Title: FPGA Development Engineer
Location: Denver, CO
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced FPGA Development Engineer to join our R&D team. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and integrate high-speed digital systems and system-on-chip (SoC) solutions implemented on FPGA platforms. You will collaborate across multiple disciplines-including Test, Integration, Software, Systems Architecture, and Digital Circuit Design-to deliver cutting-edge products for future business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Design, simulate, verify, and integrate FPGA-based systems for high-speed communication and networking.
- Develop and optimize scripts and automation tools to improve FPGA development workflows for ground test equipment supporting space missions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of FPGA solutions into complex systems.
- Contribute to the development of affordable and efficient FPGA solutions for advanced R&D programs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with FPGA development, testing, and integration.
- Proficiency in VHDL (knowledge of Verilog/SystemVerilog is a plus).
- Experience with Xilinx Ultrascale FPGA platforms and the Xilinx Vivado tool suite.
- Strong understanding of high-speed digital design and communication protocols.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge or experience with SpaceWire protocol.
- Familiarity with Python for scripting and automation.
- Background in high-speed networking concepts and complex system integration.
