Job Description:
Pay Range: $20.65hr - $23.65hr
  • This position is responsible for the production of high-quality medical devices within a manufacturing cell.
  • The associate will work under close supervision and may perform a combination of assembly, repair, and test operations on pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), leads, and related medical device assemblies.
  • The role involves following standardized procedures, maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform assembly, repair, and test operations on medical devices including pacemakers, ICDs, and leads.
  • Complete routine assignments according to specified and standardized procedures.
  • Ensure all job documentation for cell operations is accurate and up to date.
  • Communicate ideas, problems, and solutions effectively in both written and oral form.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude with internal and external customers.
  • Follow safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records to ensure traceability and address quality issues.
  • Apply basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Collaborate with supervisors/managers to set and monitor individual goals and performance metrics.
  • Support divisional initiatives related to Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and regulatory requirements.
  • Read, comprehend, and follow written procedures as well as verbal instructions.
  • Use electronic data collection systems and computer software packages.
  • Prioritize work based on sequencing and importance.
  • Handle and maneuver small components and parts with precision.
  • Make critical decisions and judgments with minimal supervision.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
