Job Description

You will be the System Engineering Associate Manager, Infrastructure for the F-35 System Integration & Test (SI&T) Infrastructure team.

What You Will Be Doing:
As the System Engineering Associate Manager you will lead the execution and performance of the F-35 System Integration & Test (SI&T) Infrastructure team, managing people, processes, and tools to enable successful mission systems integration, while contributing to leadership and coordination across a broader team of around 30 personnel supporting F-35 system integration.

Additional responsibilities:
Oversee integration and test planning, execution, and progress tracking for F-35 labs, adapting team focus in response to evolving priorities and shifting schedules.
Navigate a dynamic test environment, proactively adjusting team assignments and resource alignment to maintain program agility and responsiveness.
Provide routine status updates and critical performance insights to Lockheed Martin senior leadership.
Foster a culture of innovation, driving process improvements through agile methodologies, adoption of JIRA-based workflows, and appropriate risk-taking.
Manage all aspects of team leadership, including performance assessments, work assignments, salary planning, recognition, disciplinary actions, career development, and succession planning.
Own the full cycle of employee recruitment, requisition management, interviews, selections, onboarding, training, and competency development.
Lead workforce planning and forecasting to ensure alignment of personnel to funded efforts and emerging opportunities.
Define and implement training strategies, knowledge continuity plans, and talent development programs to maintain technical excellence.
Drive affordability and operational effectiveness through alignment with enterprise-level test and automation initiatives.

This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth.

You will need to be a , and currently possess and be able to maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in a STEM discipline (engineering highly preferred).
Hands-on experience with software or systems integration in a hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) lab environment.

Desired skills

Active F-35 Program clearance highly desired.
MBA or similar advanced business degree desired.
Demonstrated experience leading systems integration teams and mentoring junior engineers.
Solid foundation in systems engineering, integration, and verification principles.
Proven ability to develop and execute technical test and integration plans.
Experience leading in agile environments with proficiency in JIRA for task management, backlog management, and sprint planning.
Comfort operating in fast-paced settings with the ability to quickly reprioritize team activities in response to schedule changes or program needs.
Familiarity with Mission Systems within modern military aircraft platforms.
Experience working in HWIL or MSIL lab environments.
Knowledge of F-35 SPAR lifecycle, lab issue disposition, and troubleshooting processes.
Cross-functional collaboration experience with System Design, Software Development, SWIT, and Integrated System Evaluation teams.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence outcomes across diverse teams.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement
