Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience with Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 administration
- Expertise in VMware vSphere/ESXi 6.5 and above
- Strong knowledge of SAN technologies (NetApp, EMC, or equivalent)
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy Management
- Solid understanding of networking principles (VLANs, routing, firewall configurations)
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation tasks
- Certifications such as VCP, MCSE, or SAN-specific certs
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
- Experience with Disaster Recovery Planning and High Availability configurations
- Knowledge of Linux (Red Hat or CentOS)
- Exposure to backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault)
- 60% Windows Server Management
- 30% VMware Virtualization
- 10% SAN Storage Configuration and Management
- 70% Hands-On (Server configurations, VMware management, SAN optimization)
- 15% Management Duties (Monitoring, reporting, incident resolution)
