Business Development Manager IT Staff Augmentation

We're expanding and seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive new business growth.
Position Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in IT staff augmentation, preferably with experience working under the State of Texas DIR ITSAC contract. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing business within state, local, and commercial clients, and must bring a strong network of existing relationships and a book of business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition & Management
- Build and maintain relationships with public sector clients, particularly Texas state agencies using DIR ITSAC.
- Develop partnerships with commercial organizations hiring contracts, contract-to-hire, and direct-hire IT professionals.
- Sales Strategy & Execution
- Identify, pursue, and close new opportunities in IT staff augmentation.
- Leverage existing relationships and network to generate leads.
- Execute effective sales strategies to exceed targets.
- Contract Utilization
- Navigate and promote use of existing contracts like ITSAC to streamline client onboarding.
- Collaborate with internal delivery teams to ensure successful placement and client satisfaction.
- Reporting & Feedback
- Maintain and report on sales pipeline, client engagement, and market feedback.
Requirements:
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of successful experience in IT staff augmentation sales.
- Direct experience working with Texas DIR ITSAC or similar state contracts is highly preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong sales, negotiation, and communication abilities.
- Proven ability to work independently and hit aggressive targets.
- Organized, driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
