We're expanding and seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive new business growth.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in IT staff augmentation, preferably with experience working under the State of Texas DIR ITSAC contract. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing business within state, local, and commercial clients, and must bring a strong network of existing relationships and a book of business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition & Management
    • Build and maintain relationships with public sector clients, particularly Texas state agencies using DIR ITSAC.
    • Develop partnerships with commercial organizations hiring contracts, contract-to-hire, and direct-hire IT professionals.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution
    • Identify, pursue, and close new opportunities in IT staff augmentation.
    • Leverage existing relationships and network to generate leads.
    • Execute effective sales strategies to exceed targets.
  • Contract Utilization
    • Navigate and promote use of existing contracts like ITSAC to streamline client onboarding.
    • Collaborate with internal delivery teams to ensure successful placement and client satisfaction.
  • Reporting & Feedback
    • Maintain and report on sales pipeline, client engagement, and market feedback.

Requirements:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum 5 years of successful experience in IT staff augmentation sales.
    • Direct experience working with Texas DIR ITSAC or similar state contracts is highly preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong sales, negotiation, and communication abilities.
    • Proven ability to work independently and hit aggressive targets.
    • Organized, driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
