Position Overview: The Logistics and Supply Chain Coordinator is a key role responsible for supporting finished goods production for the Premium Bath and Towels product categories. This position will manage costs through the development and execution of efficient supply chain strategies in partnership with vendors. The role is responsible for ordering materials for production sites to align with business goals and plans. Additionally, the coordinator will lead or participate in various projects aimed at achieving team objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute material requirement plans to ensure availability of supplies and work-in-process materials, supporting production schedules.
Maintain accurate planning data for finishing supplies in SAP (Enterprise Resource Planning system) and Kinaxis Rapid Response, updating as necessary for material or product changes.
Manage changes in finishing supplies to align with business plans and minimize obsolescence.
Coordinate finishing supply production schedules with packaging and graphic timelines, working closely with Operations, Marketing, Planning, and Packaging teams.
Collaborate with vendors to synchronize schedules, prioritize tasks, and prevent supply disruptions or customer service issues.
Ensure vendor resources align with business plans to support production needs.
Lead and assist with logistics-related projects as assigned.
Provide on-call support to production sites as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Logistics/Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
Additional Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and thoroughness.
Ability to organize resources, analyze alternatives, and make effective decisions.
Excellent communication skills, with a proven track record of building trust and relationships to drive results.
Willingness to challenge the status quo and facilitate diverse perspectives to drive innovative solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with SAP (Enterprise Resource Planning system).
Working knowledge of supply chain interactions and processes.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
