We are seeking a Process Automation Engineer with strong technical expertise in SQL, Python, and workflow orchestration tools to lead the automation of key operational workflows. This role focuses on identifying manual processes and building scalable, efficient, and secure automation solutions using platforms such as Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Power Automate, Apache Airflow, or similar tools. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in automation and scripting and thrives in a collaborative environment where business teams and subject matter experts help drive process design.


Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and deploy automated workflows using modern orchestration tools like Azure Data Factory, Power Automate, or Apache Airflow.
* Write advanced SQL scripts, stored procedures, and views to support automation, data processing, and integration.
* Create Python scripts for data transformation, backend automation, and API integrations.
* Partner with business stakeholders and technical team members to identify automation opportunities and implement end-to-end solutions.
* Translate existing manual processes into optimized, repeatable workflows.
* Ensure solutions are designed with data privacy, security, and HIPAA compliance in mind.
* Document workflow logic, automation architecture, and data flows clearly and thoroughly.


Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
* 3+ years of experience in automation, data engineering, or process optimization roles.
* Advanced SQL development skills, including performance tuning and query optimization.
* Proficient in Python for scripting and automation tasks.
* Experience with at least one modern workflow orchestration tool (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Power Automate, Airflow, or similar).
* Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a passion for automation.


Preferred Qualifications:
* Familiarity with EDI standards.
* Experience with ETL and reporting tools like SSIS, SSRS, or Power BI.
* Knowledge of REST APIs and cloud environments (Azure, AWS).
