Interview Mode: 1st round Video and 2nd round In-person interview required (local candidates in NJ/NJ/CT)
This person needs functional knowledge of Foreign exchange(FX) and support traders with minimum Level 1 issues
Job Description
We are looking for a self-motivating individual to work in our FX eTrading support team. The candidate should have experience in supporting electronic execution and/or algorithmic trading systems and users of those systems.
The ideal candidate will be required to perform 1st & 2nd level support of electronic trading and execution systems, monitor and troubleshoot trades on electronic trading systems and work in a 24 hour electronic global trading support team using the follow-the-sun support model.
Further to this, the ideal candidate will be involved in all technical aspects of the trading system and client support interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing functional and technical support around the relevant systems to users worldwide by (not exhaustive)
Static data management (Counterparties, Currencies etc)
Ensure platforms admin in relation with system providers, both internal and external.
Dealing with STP (straight thru processing) issues.
Incident Management
Manage customer relations when dealing directly with both internal and external users of the systems.
Develop good relations with the business (FO, MO/Risk, BO), follow relationship with third parties, manage / assist members of team (business or technical analysts)
Liaise with users and developers.
Capable of handling releases autonomously
Release Management experience
Essential skills for the Application Support Specialist
Experience sitting with the traders on the trade floor
Strong FX(Foreign Exchange) knowledge
