Description

SAIC is looking for a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer who will be responsible for designing and building out the cloud infrastructure that will support the supported systems/applications operations as designed by the cloud architect. The candidate will ensure that the build of the infrastructure meets NIST and DOI security requirements. They are also responsible for any change or update to the configurations to the hosting environments.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelors in computer science or related field and 9 years of experience (4 years experience in lieu of degree)
  • ship required to achieve a Public Trust level of clearance.
  • Ability to engineer IT systems in a cloud environment; preferably AWS.
  • Current AWS (or other cloud platform) technical certification a plus
  • Experience working directly with customers.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote atmosphere with proven track record doing so. Must have dedicated work area that offers privacy.
  • Communicate clearly via written, oral, and virtual media.

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
