RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Corvallis, OR that is seeking a Repair and Maintenance Technician responsible for applying developed expertise to solve complex process and maintenance issues across test and operations environments. This role supports engineers by leveraging intermediate knowledge of electromechanical technology and software systems, including PLC and controls experience. The Repair and Maintenance Technician ensures maximum uptime and optimal performance of assigned equipment and processes through proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:
* Apply developed expertise to resolve complex process and maintenance issues across test and operations
* Assist engineers with electromechanical technology and software-related tasks
* Utilize PLC and controls experience to support equipment functionality and process automation
* Independently perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on assigned tools and equipment
* Provide troubleshooting and testing support to ensure equipment reliability and performance
* Write and modify software and PLC code to enhance tool capabilities and resolve issues
* Manage spare parts inventory to support maintenance and repair activities
* Maintain calibration schedules and ensure compliance with standards
* Recommend solutions, specifications, and workflow improvements to enhance process efficiency
* Contribute to the creation, maintenance, and improvement of documentation and performance metrics

REQUIREMENTS:
* Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems: Ability to identify and work with components such as motors, sensors, actuators, and wiring
* Familiarity with hand and power tools: Comfortable using tools for assembly, disassembly, and repair tasks
* Introductory PLC knowledge: Awareness of programmable logic controllers and basic troubleshooting of control systems
* Basic software literacy: Ability to use diagnostic tools and interface with equipment software
* Preventive maintenance (PM) procedures: Understanding of routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability
* Calibration basics: Awareness of calibration tools and procedures to maintain equipment accuracy
* Basic documentation skills: Ability to record maintenance activities, part usage, and calibration logs
* Clear communication: Capable of reporting issues and collaborating with engineers and senior technicians

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
