Job Details
Title: Mechanical Engineer
Location: Irvine, CA
LOA: 3 Months
Start Date: Week Ending May 23-30th
Interview Process: Resume Screen + 1 Round Interview
Scope: Mechanical Engineer to support rapid prototyping and product development efforts for compact, low-power electronic systems. This role will focus on product packaging, mechanical design, and integration with PCB layout and electrical requirements. The engineer will work closely with the electrical engineering team; collaborate with electrical engineer during layout phase
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Experience with SolidWorks
- Conceptual mechanical design 2D/3D
- Ability to coordinate with layout engineers on enclosure sizing and spatial planning
Timeline:
- Start approximately 2 weeks after the Electrical Engineer is onboarded
- Begins with conceptual design, transitions to layout collaboration
- Hands-on contributor; ideally able to conduct testing either on-site or in a home lab
