Location & Work Arrangement

  • City, State: Atlanta, Georgia
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid. The candidate's first day is onsite for onboarding, and subsequent onsite attendance is on demand.
  • Contract: This is a Contract position, subject to annual budget renewal (anticipated renewal July 1st).
  • Citizenship: Only s or Permanent Residents (s) should apply.
  • Local Preference: Local candidates (Atlanta Metro area / State of Georgia) are strongly preferred.
  • Mode of Interview: Either Web Cam or In Person.

Essential Expertise and Scope of Work

The Architect will supervise, guide, and instruct subordinate staff, while acting as a project leader and technical expert across the entire system lifecycle.

1. Full-Stack Development & Architecture (10+ Years Required)

  • Software Development: Ten years of job-specific experience that includes system analysis, design, development, and relationship management.
  • Multi-Platform Proficiency: Required expertise in Software Development across multiple platforms such as .NET, Java, R, etc. (10 years required).
  • Frontend: Proficiency in JavaScript and UI frameworks such as Kendo UI, AngularJS, React JS, jQuery, HTML5, Bootstrap (10 years required).
  • APIs & Deployment: Webservices Design and Development (7 years required) and Web Based Application Deployments and Debugging (10 years required).
  • Architectural Knowledge: Familiarity with architectural styles (e.g., microservices, monolithic) and design patterns is crucial.

2. Cloud, Security, and DevOps

  • Cloud Technologies: Experience with cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is necessary.
  • Security Principles: A strong understanding of security principles is vital for designing secure applications.
  • Identity Integration (Desired): Highly desired experience with Integrating Web Applications with Azure AD and Azure B2C (5 years desired).
  • CI/CD: Understanding DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is important.
  • Version Control: Experience using GIT and TFS for version control (5 years required).

3. Leadership and Project Management

  • Project Leadership: Coordinates integrated systems integrity, develops and controls project schedules, assigns responsibilities, and supervises/guides subordinate staff.
  • Database & Data Modeling: Knowledge of database design and data modeling is crucial. Experience with MS SQL and Oracle, including PL/SQL and T-SQL (7 years highly desired).
  • Stakeholder Management: Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders, managing expectations, and collaborating with various users and vendors.
