Responsibilities
  • Cultivate a sense of Cloud security awareness, principles, standardization strategies and best practices.
  • Partner with Cloud technology subject matter experts (SMEs) to define and formalize Cloud security policies required to build, support, and consume Cloud services.
  • Drive in the Cloud security solution architecture options inclusive of system design, implementation and provide guidance to resolve any architectural impediments associated.
  • Complete and/or contribute to documentation for Cloud security controls to keep business initiatives moving forward.
  • Publish and maintain a Cloud security roadmap in alignment with business initiatives and security capabilities required when leveraging Cloud services. (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, etc.)
  • Assess emerging Cloud security systems, standards, authentication protocols, and products to determine where they fill gaps, overlap with existing solutions, or extend capabilities.
  • Ability to communicate Cloud security concepts effectively across all organization levels.
  • Formalize Cloud security architecture standards and aligned design patterns.
  • Drive opportunities to automate and standardize Cloud security controls.
  • Perform complex and systemic risk assessment and support project efforts to attain timely and effective secure Cloud designs.
  • Review technical design documentation to ensure security related items are incorporated.
  • Communicate the conceptual and logical design of holistic enterprise Cloud security solutions.
  • Ability to think critically, prioritize tasks and solve problems independently or as a team member.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent experience in Information Technology or Computer Science discipline
  • CISSP, CCSP, CCSK and AWS/Azure Cloud architecture security certifications desired
  • 10+ years of experience in support, development, design, and implementation of technology solutions on large initiatives - preferably in Financial Services
  • 10+ years of experience producing deliverables such as technology designs, architecture overviews, design patterns and technology blueprints within an architecture framework such as Open Security Architecture (OSA).
  • Experience working with industry security frameworks (GLBA, CSA, CIS, FFIEC, PCI DSS, GDPR, HIPAA, NIST, etc.)
  • Experience building and designing security architecture within Cloud environments
  • Strong written and verbal ability to communicate concisely, effectively, and directly (to develop and deliver presentations on complex subjects)
  • Understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization, and security relative to Cloud.
  • Experience architecting, implementing, and designing Cloud security capabilities in areas of IAM, endpoint security, network security, data protection and application security practices.
  • Experience working with 2LOD (Risk) and 3LOD (Audit) functions to remediate Cloud security and as a Service (aaS) related finding.
  • Working knowledge of Cloud based Identity and Access management (IAM) including Single Sign On, MFA, identity providers and frameworks. (FIDO, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect)
  • Working knowledge in one or more software development languages (Java, Python, etc.) and technologies such as Kubernetes/Virtualization/ Data Lake
  • MS Office skills including Visio, PowerPoint, Excel and Word and experience using these tools to build system designs and provide updates
