Description

Are you passionate about content strategy, creation, and management on a global scale? We are seeking a Global Content Specialist for a fully remote contract opportunity. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing, curating, and managing content for international markets, collaborating with diverse teams, and ensuring content is localized and tailored to various audiences. Proficiency in German is a must, as you will be working on projects that require fluency in the language.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create, edit, and manage compelling content across multiple digital platforms, including websites, blogs, email campaigns, social media, and other marketing materials, ensuring alignment with brand voice and guidelines.
  • Adapt content for German-speaking audiences, ensuring cultural relevancy and accuracy, while maintaining brand integrity.
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders to align content strategies with organizational goals and target audience needs. Identify opportunities for content optimization and improvements based on market trends.
  • Oversee the lifecycle of content projects, including planning, execution, and delivery. Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, and regional teams.
  • Optimize content for search engines and track performance metrics to measure success. Use data insights to guide content strategy and improvements.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure global messaging consistency while respecting regional variances.


Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Native or fluent proficiency in bothGermanandEnglishis required.
  • Proven experience in content creation, strategy, and management, preferably on an international scale. Experience with CMS (Content Management Systems) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of cultural differences and the ability to localize content for German-speaking audiences effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to track content performance and guide decision-making.
  • Demonstrated experience with SEO best practices to create optimized, high-performing content.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a marketing, digital content, or editorial role within international or multilingual teams.
  • Familiarity with additional languages or regional markets is a bonus.
  • Knowledge of tools/software like Adobe Creative Cloud, Salesforce, or social media management platforms.
