Role: Sr Developer (Azure Backend)
Location: Madison, WI (Remote)
Contract
Description:
- The senior developers need to be competent in interpreting and guiding architectural diagrams, as well as understanding system integrations.
- Technical lead-level maturity is expected.
Responsibilities:
- Develop backend microservices for data ingestion, orchestration, enrichment, and communication workflows
- Integrate with Azure Event Hub, Service Bus, Blob Storage, and external/internal APIs
- Ensure security, performance, and observability (logging, tracing, metrics)
- Write clean, testable code and contribute to CI/CD pipelines
Required:
- Azure Data Factory (Azure Data Factory would be considered a bonus skill), Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps.
- RESTful APIs and event-driven systems.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture (App service and Azure Function).
- Queuing systems (Event Hub and Service Bus).
- .NET Core / C# (C# is required)
- Python (preferred)
- Azure SQL Server
