Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Core Banking Project Manager with deep expertise in implementing Core Banking platforms preferably FIS IBS and Horizon platforms to lead strategic banking transformation initiatives across U.S. financial institutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of U.S. banking regulations, core banking operations, and a proven track record of delivering complex system implementations or upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle project management for FIS Horizon to IBS core banking migration.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and FIS vendor resources to define project scope, deliverables, and timelines.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. banking regulations (e.g., FFIEC, FDIC, OCC).
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate UAT, data migration, and cutover planning.
• Provide executive-level reporting and stakeholder communication.
• Ensure successful post-implementation support and knowledge transfer.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of project management experience in the banking or financial services industry.
• Candidate must have done multiple Core Banking implementations and upgrades
• Hands-on experience with FIS IBS and/or Horizon core banking platforms is Must have.
• Strong understanding of U.S. banking operations and regulatory environment.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification preferred.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and vendor management skills.
