Software Engineer – Tactical Communications & Cybersecurity
Location: On-site | Carlsbad, CA
Citizenship Requirement: U.S. Citizen (Due to government contract eligibility)

A growing team focused on tactical communications and cybersecurity solutions is looking for a Software Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and deployment of advanced networking and security systems. This team builds secure, resilient technologies for commercial and government applications, including defense-related programs.

You'll join a mission-driven, agile environment that leverages data to protect networks from cyber threats and build solutions that withstand sophisticated cyberattacks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative solutions for complex networking problems

  • Design services and features that support resilient platform infrastructure

  • Collaborate with team members and review peer contributions

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience programming in C++

  • 5+ years of experience in network programming

  • Proficiency working with Linux-based operating systems

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)

  • U.S. Citizenship required (position tied to government contracts)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing in Python

  • Familiarity with multithreaded and real-time system development
