Role Summary
We are looking for a high-caliber Enterprise BDM (Hunter) to drive new logo acquisition for our Agentic AI platform across one or more priority verticals: Energy & Utilities, Health Insurance (Payers), BFSI, Telecom, Media, and Automotive.
This is a net-new, consultative sales role focused on opening doors, shaping early demand, and closing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals. You will work closely with founders, product, and solution architects to translate industry pain points into agentic AI-powered outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
New Logo Acquisition (Primary)
· Own net-new enterprise customer acquisition within assigned vertical(s)
· Identify, qualify, and pursue Tier-1 accounts
· Drive deals from first conversation → discovery → POV/pilot → commercial close
· Build and maintain a healthy, qualification-driven pipeline
Vertical-Led Consultative Selling
· Lead problem-first conversations
· Translate industry-specific challenges into agentic AI use cases such as:
o Operational automation
o Decision intelligence
o Claims / case / ticket orchestration
o Revenue leakage & risk mitigation
o Workforce productivity
· Tailor narratives by industry, buyer persona, and maturity level
Stakeholder & Buying-Committee Navigation
· Engage Business, IT, Digital, Ops, and Innovation leaders
· Navigate complex buying groups:
o CIO / CTO / CDO
o Business VPs
o Transformation & AI CoEs
o Security, Compliance, and Procurement
· Build value-based ROI and business cases
Go-To-Market & Account Strategy
· Collaborate with founders on vertical GTM strategy
· Support ABM-style pursuits for strategic accounts
· Feed market insights back into product and roadmap discussions
· Partner with marketing on events, webinars, and thought leadership
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience
· 7–12+ years of enterprise B2B sales / business development
· Proven hunter with consistent new-logo wins
· Experience selling one or more of:
o AI / ML platforms
o Data platforms
o Enterprise SaaS
o Automation / workflow / decision platforms
· Direct industry experience in at least one of:
o Energy & Utilities
o Health Insurance / Payers (HCLS)
o BFSI
o Telecom
o Media
o Automotive
Industry Knowledge (One or More)
· Familiarity with industry-specific workflows and systems, e.g.:
o E&U: OMS, CIS, ETRM, grid ops, asset management
o Payers: claims, prior auth, care management, provider data
o BFSI: risk, fraud, compliance, operations
o Telecom: service assurance, customer ops, network ops
o Media: content ops, ad ops, audience analytics
o Automotive: supply chain, manufacturing ops, dealer networks
AI & Platform Selling Mindset
· Comfortable selling platforms and capabilities, not just SKUs
· Able to explain agentic AI concepts:
o Autonomous workflows
o Multi-agent orchestration
o Human-in-the-loop
o LLM + tools + systems integration
· Can position AI with governance, security, and compliance in mind
Skills & Competencies
· Strong discovery & qualification (MEDDICC / MEDDPICC preferred)
· Executive-level storytelling and value articulation
· Ability to work in ambiguous, early-stage environments
· High ownership, urgency, and resilience
· Experience working closely with:
o Founders
o Product leaders
o Pre-sales / Solution Architects
· Existing strong understanding, relationships and experience in the targeted industry verticals
