Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Systems Administrator to manage and optimize enterprise systems for a leading organization in the energy and natural resources sector. Based in Port Huron, Michigan, this role focuses on ensuring the stability, reliability, and advancement of GIS technologies, network configurations, and geospatial analytics. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise and strategic vision to enhance system performance and data integrity.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategies for enterprise GIS systems to align with organizational objectives.
Lead the administration and governance of GIS platforms, ensuring system functionality and compliance.
Configure and maintain utility network topology, rules, and trace analysis.
Manage the ArcGIS Enterprise portal, including access control and security protocols.
Drive improvements in utility asset modeling and geospatial analytics.
Oversee the lifecycle of GIS applications and their integration with enterprise systems.
Design and implement custom tools and applications to enhance system capabilities.
Establish and enforce data governance standards and regulatory compliance.
Optimize system performance through analytics, automation, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for technological enhancements.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in GIS systems and utility network management.
Extensive knowledge of GIS principles, utility network analysis, and system governance.
Proficiency in using ArcGIS Enterprise and related GIS tools.
Strong skills in project management, leadership, and communication.
Experience with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or other relevant tools.
Familiarity with cloud-based GIS solutions and enterprise-level integrations.
Expertise in Active Directory, Windows Server, Windows 10, Dell Technologies, and Citrix Technologies.
