Job Title: Sr. Appian Developer

Location: Remote

Payment method: W2 or 1099 only

Long term contract

  • Design, develop, and implement scalable BPM solutions using the Appian platform (v21.x or higher).

  • Develop complex process models, user interfaces, records, reports, and integrations.

  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams to understand business requirements and translate them into functional solutions.

  • Develop Web APIs, Appian Plug-ins, and integrate with external systems using REST/SOAP.

  • Conduct peer reviews, unit testing, and performance tuning of applications.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

  • Provide production support and troubleshooting expertise for deployed Appian applications.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation and solution designs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Appian development.

  • Strong knowledge of Appian components: Process Models, SAIL interfaces, Expression Rules, Constants, Data Stores, Reports, Records.

  • Hands-on experience with Appian integrations (Web APIs, Connected Systems, Appian RPA, Integration SDK).

  • Solid understanding of relational databases and experience with SQL queries.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

  • Experience with DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, etc.) is a plus.

  • Ability to write and maintain clean, modular, and reusable code.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
