Sr. Data Engineer
Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with a strong background in designing and implementing scalable data solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work with modern Cloud data platforms, optimize data management strategies, and lead engineering teams in delivering impactful insights.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Data Engineering, focusing on scalable data solutions and architecture.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and ETL tools.
- Experience with Cloud platforms including Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Power BI, or similar.
- Expertise in data modeling, data warehousing, data lake houses, semantic models, and optimized data structures.
- Proven ability to mentor and lead teams of data engineers, driving high performance and innovation.
- Strong strategic-thinking skills in data management, architecture, and analytics solutions.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language.
- Experience managing large-scale data projects, ensuring timely execution and delivery.
- In-depth understanding of data quality, integrity, and governance best practices.
Preferred
- Familiarity with digital manufacturing and enterprise systems including ERP, CRM, and QMS.
- Strong troubleshooting skills; ability to resolve technical issues and enhance system performance.
- Passion for continuous learning and optimizing user experiences through innovative data solutions.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills; ability to manage priorities effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to foster collaboration in team environments.
- Demonstrated success in taking a strategic, hands-on approach to problem-solving and execution.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% for business needs.
This is a 6-month Contract-for-Hire opportunity with our Minneapolis-based client. 100% Paid employee Medical/Dental Benefits, Paid time off, Paid Holidays, and 401(k) (with immediately vested company match) available with TriCom during the contract period.
