POSITION: Software Developer 4 (Multiple Positions)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Design and develop software applications and programs that support Costco Logistics warehouses and Call Centers. Evaluate and address support problems reported by customers, team members, and suppliers. Lead the preparation of detailed specifications that support functional and technical requirements. Interact with other
developers, operations, Product Owners, and Business Solutions Analysts to ensure that technical solutions support business needs. Create and maintain documentation standards. Provide technical leadership in requirements gathering sessions to support complex operational and/or reporting utilization in Costco Logistics field operations. Leverage education and professional experience to coach and mentor developers to drive operational efficiencies and technical growth within the team. Evaluate and provide recommendations on permanent software changes to solve complex issues. Develop and maintain partnerships with Service Desk to ensure quality service and support. Provide technical guidance to the Junior developers on the team and assist support team resolve priority production issues. Requires domestic travel up to 20%.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Education: Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Three years of experience in:
    • Designing, coding, developing and implementing application using C#.NET and ASP.NET;
    • Using AJAX to present user experience;
    • Implementing SOA with creating and consuming web services in C#.NET in .Net 4.0;
    • Conducting client-side validation by using JavaScript and configured the IIS;
    • Using ASP.NET validation controls (required field validator, regular expression validator, compare validator, range validator), user controls, custom controls, data web control;
    • Working with ASP.NET master pages;
    • Working on Implementation of Business logic using process objects and business process in HighJump Architecture code and creating HighJump web pages based on business requirement using Page Editor;
    • Handling data manipulation and writing Stored Procedures, User Defined Functions, and Views utilizing SQL Server;
    • Creating RESTful Web API web services for applications; and
    • Utilizing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) flows for fulfillment center order management, inbound/receiving, put away/storage, inventory control, waiving, picking, packing, task management, cycle count, outbound/shipping, invoicing, reports/document printing, and VAS.
