Cloud Engineer Fulltime Permanent City of Industry, CA 100% ONSITE

Job Summary: Technical Skills
1. On-Premises Infrastructure Expertise
o Experience in designing, deploying, and managing on-premises network infrastructure (e.g., LAN, WAN, VPNs, firewalls, switches, and routers).
o In-depth knowledge of storage technologies, including SAN, NAS, RAID configurations, and backup/recovery solutions.
o Strong understanding of server hardware and operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux), including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
2. Microsoft Ecosystem Proficiency
o Extensive experience with Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and PowerShell scripting.
o Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration and integration with on-premises systems.
o Experience with Azure Cloud and Intune
3. Cloud Computing and Azure Knowledge
o Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including IaaS, PaaS, and hybrid cloud deployments.
o Understanding of Azure networking (e.g., Virtual Networks, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers) and storage solutions (e.g., Blob Storage, Azure Files).
o Ability to migrate on-premises workloads to Azure and manage hybrid environments using tools like Azure Arc or Azure Site Recovery.
4. General Cloud Competency
o Familiarity with cloud architecture principles, scalability, and security best practices.
o Experience with cloud monitoring, cost management, and optimization techniques.
o Knowledge of other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus but not required.

Experience
Minimum of 5+ years in IT infrastructure roles, with at least 2 years focused on cloud technologies.
Demonstrated experience in managing both physical and virtualized environments.
Track record of successfully completing projects involving network upgrades, server deployments, or cloud migrations.
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, including threat detection, intrusion prevention, and vulnerability management for both on-premises and cloud environments.
Experience implementing and managing security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and SIEM solutions.

Certifications (Preferred but Optional)
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
CompTIA Network+
VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or equivalent for virtualization.
