Primary Services is excited to announce the role of IT Business Analyst for our prestigious client in the Trading & Supply industry. Join a dynamic team within the Refined Products sector, where you'll collaborate closely with business users to identify and define their needs, ensuring efficient solutions are delivered to meet business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with business stakeholders to understand and document business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with Agile Delivery Teams to prioritize and manage delivery, including defect fixes, enhancements, and special projects.
  • Utilize your expertise in Business Analysis techniques and tools to analyze and document complex business processes.
  • Identify opportunities to link technical solutions with business strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Lead stakeholder management activities, fostering trust and ensuring stakeholders feel valued throughout the process.
  • Contribute to the creation of best practice materials and serve as a subject matter expert in specific tools, techniques, or business areas.
  • Coach junior IT Business Analysts and actively participate in industry-related activities to stay abreast of developments and share knowledge within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of corporate IT experience, with at least 4 years in a Business Analyst role.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferably related to IT.
  • Certification such as CCBA or PMI-PBA preferred; working towards CBAP is advantageous.
  • Proven experience with Agile project methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of the technology landscape and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Analytical mindset with a systematic approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Comprehensive understanding of business process improvement, benefit, and risk management.
  • Proficiency in Deal Capture (Front Office) and End of Day processes is a plus.
